Dr.George Samuel is the President of Value Education Trust established in 1991 as a Charitable and Educational Trust registered under the India Trust Act 1882. He has successfully imparted value-based education to about 60,000 teachers in Kerala and a few other states of India. Over 10,000 students and 5000 parents have also benefitted from his training sessions. He continues to render his services and looks for ways to impact people and the community positively.

A Brief Bio of Dr George Samuel

Dr George Samuel is a former nuclear scientist who specialized in the application of radioisotopes in medicine. He served with Bhabha Atomic Research Centre in Mumbai as a scientific officer and founded the nuclear Medicine Department at Bay Harbor Hospital in Los Angeles. He also worked with the World Health Organization (WHO) as a Consultant.

Dr George Samuel is the author of the book, Value-Based Education.  His motto follows the famous quote by John Phillips, co-founder of Phillips Exeter Academy: Character without knowledge is weak and feeble, but knowledge without character is dangerous!!

He has conducted seminars and workshops for students, parents, and teachers from primary schools to academic staff colleges in India. His sessions revolved around incorporating moral, ethical and social values into the school curriculum irrespective of the subjects taught.
